One more question that is bugging me that i really want your opinion on.

has Pop Idol actually done anything for it's viewers? I mean, what do you get out of it? Do you find yourself being more critical about music? Not just who wins and loses but the whole 'pop' thing. Do you understand the music industry more now since watching Pop Idol and all of the follow ups.
